All rental cars come with comprehensive insurance coverage. In the event of an accident, if the renter is not at fault, no insurance excess is required. However, if the renter is at fault, an insurance excess ranging from AED 750 to AED 3000 may apply, depending on the vehicle type. In both scenarios, obtaining a police report is mandatory.

Full insurance cover with CDW eliminates insurance excess in accidents, regardless of hirer's fault. Valid police report is still required for claims.
